Render's family tree farm is located in the hamlet of East Oxford near Oxford Station, Ontario. Since 1966, our family has raised Spruce & Balsam Christmas trees.
We have both cut your own and bulk Christmas tree sales available.
If you are interested in purchasing in bulk amounts or for a Church or community event, please contact us early as inventory is limited and sells out annually.
Render's Tree Farm is a family owned business which evolved from a small dairy farm operation in Eastern Ontario. With soil conditions ideal for tree farming, our family started cultivated Christmas trees in 1966. Originally growing Scotch Pine, our operations have evolved to grow Balsam Fir, Norway Spruce, and White Spruce.
In 2016, we marked our 50th anniversary as a tree farm. Being a family run business, this anniversary is a milestone. Three generations of our family - and many friends and neighbours - have played an active role in planting, pruning and harvesting our trees.
Our operations are run by David Render, who followed in his fathers footsteps in cultivating trees on our East Oxford farm.
About Our Trees
There are a lot of Christmas tree options. Over the past 50 years, our family has continued to learn and refine our crop for the greatest quality at the lowest environmental impact. Unlike artificial trees, which are made overseas of steel and plastic, our system is simple. Our trees are purchased as seedlings from Ontario nurseries and grown with limited machinery and no pesticides. With trees growing for an average 8-10 years, our farm absorbs just over 316,000 lbs of carbon dioxide every year.
